Grinding your own beans makes a delicious, fresh cup of coffee that is way better than purchased ground coffee. You can definitely use your ground beans in a percolator. Actually I love percolated coffee. When you grind your own beans they can be used exactly like already ground coffee-in whichever method you to decide to cook them with. You will have to purchase a coffee bean grinder is all. Good luck, have fun and enjoy the java!!!

Be sure to never use soap to clean your coffee pot! The residue will affect the taste of your coffee. To clean the pot use salt and ice - swish in the pot and rinse with water. Use cold filtered water and generally I use 3 scoops less than the amount of water. For example, 10 cups of water and 7 scoops of coffee. To take bitterness out put a pinch of salt on top of the coffee grinds before you brew.

Lee S. said it. I have hardwood floors in several rooms including the kitchen. I buy the larger square felt pads and cut them to size. Every piece of furniture I have that sits on a wood floor has felt underneath. This keeps them from too easily sliding but allows you to move them around without damaging the floor. They have worked great even on our kitchen chairs.

The only thing that I have heard about coffee being bad for is staining your teeth. Darker drinks tend to stain the teeth, however if you use a straw it seems to slow down the process. I actually think they have found that coffee can be good for a person, just not the teeth. LOL!! Thanks

Soak it in water with bleach in it...wash and rinse, should be clean as a whistle. It is the plastic or rubber that is the culprit, not the stainless steel. Good luck

You could have a Mocha which has chocolate and coffee, or go for a caramel or vanilla drink. They have different flavors so you could mix it up.

Brew your coffee with spring water instead of tap water. This sometimes can effect the taste depeding on the type of coffee you brew and the quality of your tap water. Allow it to cool. Then add ice. Then add cream and sugar to your liking.
