You can still buy teak but just not certain variates from certain counties. It get around the rarity of teak and allow for commercial sales, companies started growing teak in other parts of the world other than SE Asia on farms. This allows them to sell teak products. However, it is still rare and in demand. If your stuff is in good condition then it should be worth something. Take a look at Ebay to compare.
