What color rug would you use with claret red parson chair slipcovers?

I have purchased some claret red slipcovers to go over my parsons chairs. The base of the table is a cream color. The table top is long rectangular glass. The linoleum is a cream color as well. What color rug would you put under that? I have purchased some coffee-themed table mats (my kitchen is coffee themed with many different colors).

I think it would look good to bring some black into the mix. I put in a link to a rug that has black, some of the red, and cream/tan in it. It comes in many sizes/shapes, as well as other colors.

I think the best coffee in the world is grown in Colombia, but that is my preference. Certainly the coffees with the best flavors are from arabica plants grown at altitudes of around one mile above sea level.

The best tasting coffee to drink has to be made from fresh roasted beans that have been ground just before brewing and drinking. The roaster who I have found provides the freshest and best tasting beans delivered to my home each month is Don Francisco. Chinese apartment new paint scheme?

I want to stick with a Chinese art, culture, style, and color. Currently I have a black leather couch, and chair (Ikea) and coffee table and end tables.

My Chinese better half appreciates his heritage being honored in our home, as well. We use a lot of red, gray, black and gold because it goes well with the Asian decore celebrating his culture, but also works well with my European culture as well. Being a landlord, I would probably not want my rental units painted with red walls. That being said, you can still use your walls to your decorating advantage. For example, we inherited and collect vintage Chinese and Japanese gowns (which you can often find in thrift stores and in China towns). We hang them on our walls using decorative drapery rods as art because they are so beautiful. I give them “faces” by hanging my collection of venetian masks above each gown.

You can also find beautiful Chinese toile brocade fabric at JoAnne’s fabric store and when you use the 40% off circular cupon they are quite inexpensive. I’ve used this fabric to make pillows, placemats, even a throw with fringe sewn to the edges. They make beautiful valances and draperies as well.

Chinese tend to like rosewood which resembles a mahogany wood tone. You can pick up beautiful, yet very inexpensive stands upon which you can put plants, vases and sculpture either table top or or on the floor. Lucky bamboo in a chinese pot look great and bring your home luck.

Look at the stamp stores where they have a boxed collection of chinese language symbols. You can blow these up (once stamped on a surface) and do all kinds of things with them. You can make a stencil and use fabric paint to make placemats, a table runner, art…My collection cost less than 10 dollars and I never stop finding uses for it.

You can also find Chinese symbols which are on bedspreads (Brylane home, Chadwicks home, Spiegel, bed bath and beyond, linen N things) also I found them embroidered in gold on black towels as well.

thinking about opening a coffee shop. is there any tips from coffee shop owners out there?
i have a few ideas of what i want to do, like new drinks, design, policies, ect.
things i’m still not sure on like the brands of coffee to look for, the pros and cons of roasting your own coffee,
i love sumatra, and kona, but wasnt sure who roasted the beans.
approximately how much is all the equipment necessary to open/ minimal space you need to operate.
its going to be in a small town in southern california, where the only real competition would be starbucks. pfft. they claim to sell gourmet coffee. lol.
also what brands of espresso machines, blenders, ice makers, ect. fo you trust and that are reliable?

I would really love to be in a coffee shop that looks more like strarbucks. It is cozy and feels more like home. I am not really sure about coffee flavors, but I would recommend that you use a capresso espresso machine because it is a very durable and easy to use brand. so i really want to apply for a job at starbucks. i have some questions about it though…
1. do they train you hands on and show you how to work the machines and how to make all the drinks? or is it from a book you have to memorize?

1. Starbucks trains you hands on and from a video and booklet. You will learn how to use the machines and will learn to listen for the ingredients the customer is asking for in the drinks you make. You will learn how to clean the machines and fill them.

2. You don’t have to know ALL about coffee, but it helps to know the different roasts and grinds. Starbucks makes tea too. Far more important is attitude. Skills and product can be taught, attitude is what you bring to the table. Why would they want to hire you? Because you present yourself well and have a GREAT attitude.

3. Confidence in dealing with people, customer service skills, listening skills, sequencing skills, merchandising skills, product knowledge, spatial awareness, etc., etc.,
