what to use coffee chipotle rub for?

We enrolled my father in law in the rub of the month club and he’s received a lot of good rubs. recently he received a coffee chipotle rub, and although it smells awesome, we have no idea what to put it on. it doesn’t seem like it’d be good on steaks, burgers, ribs, or fish. we considered maybe chicken but not sure what would be the best way to prepare it. any ideas on preparation of chicken to use this rub, or ideas on other proteins to use it on?

I also think a pork shoulder or ribs would be best cooked low and 2-3 hrs (depending on size) or grill chicken till it’s almost finished then apply the rub so it will not burn (with a brush)I think it might be good on shrimp skewers put the shrimp on 2 skewers so that the 2 skewers go through the tail and the head part you can skewer 3or4 shrimp at a time soak the skewers in water for 20-30 mins first.

An opinion question: Christmas gifts for non-Christians?

I’d like to get a few little Christmas presents for the people I work with this year. It’s my first Christmas with this company, so I don’t know what the norm is. I work with a lot of middle Eastern people, from Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, etc. I’m wondering if it would be acceptable or appreciated to give these non-Christian-holiday-celebrating people a Christmas gift. It wouldn’t be Christmas-themed, more like a personalized coffee mug or something like that.

You don’t have to give them as Christmas gifts. My husband gives New Year gifts so that he doesn’t offend anyone at his office. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive. It can be something specific for each person or go with a winter theme. I don’t know how many people you have in your office but you may thing about bringing some sweets o favors.
