Coffee stains on carpet aren’t difficult to remove if you act quickly. Here’s a good rule of thumb: to remove carpet stains effectively, it’s important you get to the task immeidately upon spilling, if you don’t you’re more likely to incur permanant damage. Dab at the stain with vinegar or club soda until it’s removed. If you waited too long and the stain has set in, you should still be able to remove the stain by using dry-cleaning solvent. Blot until the stain is lifted.=)

I have 2 a day, one at home with my breakfast, and one in a travel mug for the trip to work. 5 or 6 cups (and those are probably mugs) is definitely too much caffeine in a day. If you also have chocolate, any kind of cola or tea (unless its herbal which is usually decaf)… that would be more caffeine. Consider going "half caff". I only buy organic, free trade coffees, but I know the organic markets carry it, and many of the grocery store chains are carrying both the organic and regular half caffeine (lite) selections. Or you can buy full caff and a decaf and mix them.

You can get one for under $20 at any target or Walgreen’s (Proctor Silex and Black and Decker) both work just fine. Expensive coffee makers are just more expensive they pretty much all do the same thing. Just get a good expresso blend or dark roast coffee for the best flavor when making iced coffee – standard coffees like Maxwell House and Folgers are not strong enough unless you buy a specialty dark blend. Personally I prefer whole beans and grind them myself for less oil and more flavor – but it is a personal preference. Good Luck!

if you insist on having that pot on all of the time make sure that your fire insurance is in effect and you have put it in a safe place, you`ll be needing it real soon. on the other hand, turn it off when its done perking, use the microwave to reheat the left overs, it will save on the elect bill, fire dept not required

The caffeine in the coffee is said to boost your metabolism and fat burning. My method is coffee right before a workout. The only thing I add to it is Splenda (calorie free), if you add a lot of cream and sugar, etc. you won’t reap the benefits. The caffeine also helps with energy levels while training.

I would try vinegar and maybe a little dish soap. Not sure if it would completely kill the mold. But I don’t know that I would want to try any thing else in case it leaves a reside and end up in the coffee the next time you make some.

you probably don’t have an ulcer. stomach is harsh on a lot of people’s stomachs I guess just because of the ingredients. there’s a new coffee out actually, I think it may be Folgers brand that is specifically made for a weak stomach and won’t bother you as much. you may want to look for that or not drink as much…even though that’s hard =)
