It won’t work …the filter will get plugged up and it’ll run over the top before it drains into your coffee pot…just take it back and buy the right stuff

Ya kinda need a grinder. By chance do you have a neighbor or friend who’s grinder you can use? You can buy grinders for under $20. I don’t recommend pre-grinding, but that’s what needs to happen here. Store the grinds in an airtight container. There’s a battle between freezing and not freezing the grinds, but I say freeze em. The temp keeps the beans fresh.

i just got over a similar problem. i drank coffee every single day for the longest time, until one day i thought to myself how sick of it i was. since then i’ve cut down on it [i still have a cup every week or so] i feel soo much better. did you know that the coffee is the thing that’s making you need to take naps? all you need is a good night’s sleep, and switch to tea. it is better for you and it has less caffeine.

Go to your local wal-mart or hardware store and get some CLR(calcium,lime.rust). It works wonders on many things.

My father swears by Bunn coffee pots! His coffee is so much better than mine! It is the only difference in how we prepare it. We use good coffee and filtered water. I know when I first started making coffee (my hubby has to have it every morning) I had to make so many pots just to get the amount of grinds to put in with what amount of water! This is/can be a task all in itself. Good luck and happy coffee drinking!

I agree with you, in-fact I unplug alot of appliances, when not in use. They say when there plugged in there drawing energy and costing us money. At least that’s what I heard.

Use instant coffee, yeah. Dissolve it in hot water — about 1/4 cup to 2 tsp. full of the instant coffee. It’ll be strong but good for your recipe.

if you have a LOT of stale coffee, spray it on plants outside that slugs are bothering…. they hate it…. little dabs of coffee on houseplants is fine… all things in moderation…. a full cuppa is prob not going to be liked much….. you cannot substitute coffee for water, in other words…..
