The manual drip filter works well, but I made decent coffee once by boiling a pot of water, putting the coffee directly in the boiled water, and covering it for a few minutes. I then poured it out very carefully and left quite a bit of coffee at the bottom to reduce the amount of grounds I got in my cup. It was good coffee, too.

As long as you don’t just drink coffee drink lots of water.I never stop drinking coffee when I was pregnant and I did not stop when I breastfeed.IT is not going to hurt the baby and will not have that much effect on the baby.My kids did not lose sleep because I had that one cup of coffee.I think moms should be more worried over the nasty fake foods with dyes loaded with sugar rather then if a women has one cup of coffee really!Don’t go drink a pot of coffee,if you feel you need another cup make sure you are drinking lots of water.Not all the body is going to send all that caffeine to the breast anyhow.We have amazing body that does the balance.So bottems up!

the experts say too muc is bad for you – well for 40years I have been drinking 6-10 mugs percolated coffe a day – and my helath is just fine thanks! (remember an ex is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure – sums up most expert opinion)

dont know why this is happening if you are doing everything right. use double coffee filters. if that doesnt work use three at a time this should help
