Lavazza Coffee Beans

Lavazza Coffee Beans- Lavazza is an Italian company that roasts, blends, and grinds coffee beans, and has done so for over 100 years. Lavazza coffee beans are renowned worldwide, expanding from their humble home in a small grocer in Italy in 1895.

Today the company imports beans from all around the world, including many areas in and around South America. They also bring in the highest quality beans from Uganda, Mexico, the United States, Asia, and many other countries. Although the company is committed to coffee quality, it is also firmly attuned to social responsibility, and makes every effort to help develop the communities and improve workers’ conditions in the countries where they buy the raw beans.

Roasting Lavazza Coffee Beans

Lavazza has taken roasting to a science. This is a critical step because this is what creates the flavor of coffee. Lavazzo imports the beans as wholesale green coffee beans, then roasts them to perfection. Even before they are roasted, tasters sample the green coffee daily when the beans arrive at the facility.

The early stage of roasting often produces what is called white coffee beans. It is rare to hear of a blend or brew made from white coffee beans, but some in the United States have taken a liking to coffee made from white beans. It has yet to catch on, however.

Later, when the heat gets higher, the beans become golden then dark brown. By this time, heating temperatures have gone from just over 200º F to 446ºF, and the beans have also expanded. They become brittle and toasty, and ready for grinding.

How long do Lavazza coffee beans roast? That depends on the bean. Some will get less time and some will get more, depending on what will bring out the best flavor of the particular kind of wholesale green coffee beans.

Lavazza Blends

Part of what makes an ideal coffee is the blend. What kinds of beans are chosen for a blend will depend on whether the designers want a sweeter flavor, something more chocolaty, or something more intense. Then those choices must be balanced for the perfect final flavor. Again, Lavazza coffee tasters always sample the product before it leaves the facility for the markets.

Storage of Lavazza Coffee Beans

Packaging is crucial to preserving coffee, and Lavazza’s unique one way valve allows gases to escape but allows no air in. This helps prevent oxidation, this preserving the fullest coffee aroma and flavor possible.
